The Apple Media ToolKit is an easy-to-use “kit” which you can use to create a variety of customizable marketing materials utilizing HyperCard and Apple’s desktop publishing technology. A HyperCard stack is used to locate and launch an extensive selection of ads, flyers, a product information matrix and other marketing materials that have been provided as PageMaker templates and as EPS graphic files. For your convenience, all customizable materials on the Apple Media ToolKit can be previewed before launching templates.
The PageMaker templates included with the Apple Media ToolKit can be customized with your name and location information, as well as pricing and system configuration information. To customize templates, you must have a basic working knowledge of Aldus PageMaker 4.2; you should be able to place graphic files, and size and position graphics once they are placed; be able to place text files and manipulate text once it has been placed, and create text blocks.
Also included on the Apple Media ToolKit is a complete set of Apple product art (in the form of EPS files). These files can be placed in the PageMaker templates, resized, and dragged into the appropriate position. You can access both straight-on and three-quarter views of all products in shaded line art format. You can add Apple Product Art to a template by selecting the file you need and using the “PLACE” command under the “FILE” menu in PageMaker.
